About Andean Walker

Andean Walker is a project inspired by the integration of nature and ancestral culture that provides authentic and transformative experiences for our travelers in the diverse scenery of the Andean mountains.

The design of each series of experiences are based on sustainable and respectful practices that allow us to enjoy and learn from the environment and surrounding local communities. Our amazing team at Andean Walker is eco-minded, committed to meeting these principles, and passionate about sharing our philosophy with our travelers.

Social Environmental Commitments

We believe that tourism and education are tools that can create positive changes in society and the environment. To make this possible, it is necessary that we work together towards the same objective under the same values: love, respect,
and freedom.

At Andean Walker, we believe in making positive changes in our community through the support of our travelers and the locals in communities where we have fostered relationships.

Part of our mission is to work with the locals to preserve and care for the places we pass through when hiking and biking. We do this by avoiding the use of disposable products and promoting conservation projects that improve the current conditions in the places where we offer tours. Above all, our goal is that our presence leaves a positive footprint in the lives of the communities by offering work opportunities to improve their quality of life and that our travelers can take home transformative experiences.

Families from these various rural communities have become part of this dream: Paru Paru, Quehue, Chonta, Huilloq, Huchuyqosqo, and Rayan.
